Greetings! My name is Stephan Kesting, and I have dedicated over 37 years to the practice of martial arts.
I have focused primarily on grappling arts for the past 25 years, attaining the rank of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Additionally, I am a certified instructor in Erik Paulson's Combat Submission Wrestling.
Beyond my grappling qualifications, I hold a black belt in Kajukenbo Karate and instructor certifications in Dan Inosanto's Jun Fan JKD, Maphalindo Silat, and Filipino Martial Arts program. I have also studied Japanese Judo, Russian Sambo, various Chinese Kung Fu systems, Brazilian Capoeira, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and numerous other martial arts.
I mention these credentials not to boast, but to establish my credibility as someone who has immersed themselves in the martial arts community, trained with a diverse range of individuals, and developed a profound understanding of the challenges grapplers face daily on the mats.
With my knowledge and experience, I can discern quality and recognize techniques that genuinely work.
